PAHSCO was invited to 2024 TVGH International Medical Conference– “Greening Healthcare to Create Future of Medical Sustainability Forum” to share corporate experience in sustainable green supply chain
Mr. Tim Chiang, General Manager of PAHSCO, was invited to attend the "Green Healthcare to Create Future of Medical Sustainability Forum" held by Taichung Veterans General Hospital on October 26, 2024. During the meeting, PAHSCO shared its corporate experience in sustainable green supply chain. As a 47-year partner who has been accompanying Taiwanese medical staff, PAHSCO responds to the concept of green design and develops products that save materials and meet safe quality to reduce the amount of medical waste and implement sustainable product responsibility.
Since the first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report published in 2011, PAHSO has actively worked hard to assume corporate social responsibilities. In 2022, it established a sustainable development committee and officially moved towards sustainable transformation. We issued our first sustainability report in 2023.
In terms of environment, in addition to completing the ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas external verification in 2023, PAHSCO is also committed to energy conservation and carbon reduction goals. Specific results include: greenhouse gas emission intensity decreased by 4.8%, electricity saving reduced 277 metric tons of CO2, and water saving was 3,308 tons. , reducing the intensity of industrial waste by 44%, etc., and launching a plan to build solar systems and prepare an energy management system in 2024. In terms of society, PAHSCO continues to build a diverse and friendly workplace. In 2023, PAHSCO was awarded with the Miaoli County Goodwill Breastfeeding Room certification and the Taipei City Government's Senior and Elderly Friendly Enterprise Certification. In 2024, in addition to launching an employee stock ownership trust, it also referred to international human rights standards. The "zero payment" policy for foreign migrant workers will be promoted in stages to further protect labor rights. In terms of governance, PASHCO won the Outstanding Backbone Enterprise Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2024, and has been ranked 9 times in the top 5% of listed company governance evaluations. In the future, it will continue to implement operator responsibilities and improve governance efficiency.
