PAHSCO donates 10,000 sets of Closed Suction System to support frontline healthcare workers
During this severe COVID-19 pandemic, PAHSCO decides to donate 10,000 sets of closed suction system to support frontline healthcare workers in order to assist the government in fighting the pandemic and fulfilling corporate social responsibility. Product donation will be provided to Taiwan Union of Nurses Association (TUNA) and Taiwan Association of Critical Care Nurses (TACCN) and further distribute for domestic intensive respiratory care center use.
Closed suction system is to provide safe and simple access to patient’s airway without disconnecting the mechanical ventilation and prevents cross-contamination. It is a type of anti-pandemic weapon for medical staff to take care of severe respiratory patients.
For 44 years, PAHSCO has continuously developed medical products focusing on the protection of frontline nursing staff, assisting healthcare workers to give patients the most efficient and effective high-quality medical care. This wave of pandemic has caused a great physical and psychological burden on the frontline nursing staff. We hope through a little contribution with closed suction system donation can back up the healthcare workers with a strong support this time.
